HEARTS GET IN YOUR EYES GIVEAWAY

© Kate Donaldson Photography

Tipping her hat to this day of all things lurve, the ever fantabulous Kate of Kate Donaldson Photo is giving away an In Love photo session.

Did I mention she’s only available in D-town for a limited time? That’s right, folks – this might be your last chance to take advantage of these particular photo ops unless you plan to follow her to to the Pacific Northwest.

We’re looking for any sort of couple – truly, madly, deeply in love is the only requirement. Champagne is optional… Kevs and I sure recommend that option.

Here’s how to enter:

01. Like artsocial and Kate Donaldson Photo on ye olden Facebook.

02. Leave a comment on this post telling us where you want the session. And why. The more unique, the better! However, it must be reasonable a.k.a. we can actually go to there :) As much as a waterfall in Kauai sounds pretty delightful right about now… and it must be in the Denver area, so the moon is also out. Something like the Botanical Gardens, Sweet Action, a bar you met in, etc. We’re looking for an amazeballs love story! Stat!

The commenter with the most interesting location/most compelling romance wins… somehow I suspect the two are intertwined.

The winner will be chosen on February 22nd.

Well, what are you waiting for?

oooh oooh pick me pick me!!!! and hell yes champagne! we just celebrated our anniversary and this would be an amazing present! we’ve been looking for cute pictures to put on our walls for a long time and kate is the perfect photographer for the job!

k so here’s what we were thinking… we want something very us. casual, fun, in love (of course)! maybe 2 separate photos where they meet together and we’re kissing, but not in the same photo (see this link: http://pinterest.com/pin/7951736811726725/ ), OR walking behind the DMNS. We love to take the puppies there to play. OR i’d love something in a kitchen where we’re baking and he’s taste testing the batter (i love cute apron and kitchen shots), but that would be really hard cause our kitchen is WAY too small for more than 2 people to fit in it. anyways… tons of ideas! pick me!

I love Kate’s photography! So, here’s the deal, with this photo you would get to photograph two extremely cute and sexy queers doing the gayest stuff ever: walking around, laughing, and generally just being awesome :-) O.K. so, honestly, I would want the shoot to be in front of/in Sweet Action because that was where my boo and I got…Domestically Partnered this summer. Strange? Maybe, but it was radical street performance art and it was wonderful. I imagine vintage-y outfits, ice cream on faces, and honoring that extraordinarily happy moment. Not so much champagne, but sugar high definitely! Also, vintage mixed with Baker neighborhood’s grungy-ness could make for compelling photos. Pick us! Pick us!

It would so nice to do a shoot in our natural habitat. Me giving my husband back scratches (his favorite). Hanging with our sweet cat and rubbing her belly. Sitting side by side on the couch while surfing laptop/iPad and watching Netflix. I realize that may be anti-climatic compared to what you are looking for. But I feel like, years from now, I will really appreciate glimpses into our ordinary life and ordinary love. (Although, when it’s *your* love, it never feels just ordinary, does it?). :)

Second idea. If possible, I would love to do a photo shoot in the Butterfly Pavilion in Westminster. How awesome would it be to do a shoot next to beautiful rainforest greenery and pretty butterflies in a balmy climate? In the middle of the winter! Wearing summer clothes! Looking happy and content. I just imagine the feeling of contentment radiating from our photos.

Kate! You know you wanna photograph Burke. He’s hilarious. But we would totally go to Lost Creek, it’s a really beautiful spot that Matt brought up. Or south table mountain in golden, you can see all the lights of denver from up there, it’s one of our favorite places to hike. Oooorrrrrr we could go to the bluebird theater where we met a year ago! I love love love me some mrs. D and I would love to have some photos of me and my love taken by her.
